Through a collaborative effort of the Y4D Foundation and Aadhar Housing Finance Limited, 100 health camps were held across India in the years 2020-2021 in 100 cities spanning seven states: Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. This health camp drive is being held with the objective of helping the less fortunate members of society who live in slums through early detection of disease through a preliminary health camp campaign. This project has greatly aided the unserved segment of society with preparatory medicines for fever, cold, and cough, as well as supplies such as masks, sanitizers, and other items, especially during the uncertainty of pandemic outbreaks Covid-19. This intervention not only shortened the period between the onset of symptoms and the onset of serious disease but also made it easier to take action toward taking preventive health care measures. Preliminary examinations have also revealed a large number of referral cases. Participants in the interventions have requested to have more such camps in the near future, which provides the program a sense of accomplishment.
